Nichewood

Nichewood is made from a light coloured timber which has been dyed and then composed into a large block which is then sliced or sawn. The possibilities are limitless and a large number of patterns are produced ranging from conventional imitations of hardwood species to some very exotic and colourful designs. Originally the main use of this product was veneer, however manufactures soon wanted solid to match the veneer, hence the raw material blocks were sawn instead of sliced.
